Prepared - A Safety and Readiness Blog
It's Going To Be Contagious.
I will begin to experiment with and review products I believe will make me stronger, healthier, and more enlightened. This can provide you with some viable options that may work to get you in the direction that’s forward moving to get you where you need to be.
I will continue to read books that will make me a stronger leader, a better person and a that deepens my empathy and prepares me better to help you. These books will be posted here on Prepare To Act.
I will continue my education toward my bachelor’s degree in psychology, to better understand the human mind, behavior and explore the minds of the criminal element. This will help with my blog posts and program development to help you become safer and aware of the dangers that could find you.
I will motivate myself to become healthier, stronger, and more focused on personal growth. This will help you to believe in me, my message, my motivations, and my drive to make you better, healthier, and safer.
Cultivating An Emergency Response Team - Part 1 - Getting Started
Who is on an E.R.T?
The most important part of developing an effective, on-site Emergency Response Team is to put the right people on it. Let’s start by finding out who may be interested. To be a member of an ERT takes a confident and a dedicated person willing to go the extra mile. They can be any member of you workforce and come with no background or training in the emergency response field, to ex-military, law enforcement or emergency medical history.
Gut Instinct - Combining Intuition & Analysis To Make Better, Quicker Choices In Your Life
To have good intuition takes a lot of practice. Take for example a driver that witnesses a traumatic and impactful motor vehicle accident just feet from their vehicle. Frozen by overwhelming shock, a bit of panic sets in, it’s not every day you see something so traffic. The passenger asks, “Should we help?” Although through human nature, the driver wants to help, it’s through personal preservation, that he may not
The driver and passenger are now stuck in traffic caused by the accident, with one vehicle in flames. The sirens are getting closer. Next, emergency personnel arrive on scene, firemen, paramedics, police. They hop out of their vehicles and get right to work, each knowing their role. The driver is witnessing professional emergency workers in a traumatic, chaotic situation and notice they are working seamlessly and without panic. The question may be asked, how do they do that? In a word it’s wisdom. The more you know by doing and the more doing you experience, the better your intuition will become.
Was this gut instinct that decided for the driver not to help?
What is Your Why?
Someday, possibly you may be forced with a decision, forced upon you by someone bad, angry and against the world. That decision will be to you fight back, or crumple up into a ball in the corner, crying, begging for your life, and just allowing that asshole to do what he/she wants? The answer to my next question will tell you exactly how you will respond.

Find Your Purpose
To find our purpose, define our passions and fulfill ourselves, we must focus on self-confidence, self-awareness, and the ability to self-evaluate.
“Man’s search for meaning is the primary motivation in his life…”
“This meaning is unique and specific in that it mush and can be fulfilled by him alone; only then does it achieve a significance which will satisfy his own will to meaning,” (Frankl, P 99).
Report IRS Phone Scam Here
IRS Phone Scams are surging around the country. If I could make a button that would help people solve this problem, the title would be that as above, Report IRS Scam Here! This button would magically identify the caller, where he or she lives, works, and eats; and supplies you, the victim, with a direct phone number to his or her home. Then my suggestion would be to post that number on your social media accounts and encourage everyone to call it, a lot!
