Gut Instinct - Combining Intuition & Analysis To Make Better, Quicker Choices In Your Life
To have good intuition takes a lot of practice. Take for example a driver that witnesses a traumatic and impactful motor vehicle accident just feet from their vehicle. Frozen by overwhelming shock, a bit of panic sets in, it’s not every day you see something so traffic. The passenger asks, “Should we help?” Although through human nature, the driver wants to help, it’s through personal preservation, that he may not
The driver and passenger are now stuck in traffic caused by the accident, with one vehicle in flames. The sirens are getting closer. Next, emergency personnel arrive on scene, firemen, paramedics, police. They hop out of their vehicles and get right to work, each knowing their role. The driver is witnessing professional emergency workers in a traumatic, chaotic situation and notice they are working seamlessly and without panic. The question may be asked, how do they do that? In a word it’s wisdom. The more you know by doing and the more doing you experience, the better your intuition will become.
Was this gut instinct that decided for the driver not to help?

Find Your Purpose
To find our purpose, define our passions and fulfill ourselves, we must focus on self-confidence, self-awareness, and the ability to self-evaluate.
“Man’s search for meaning is the primary motivation in his life…”
“This meaning is unique and specific in that it mush and can be fulfilled by him alone; only then does it achieve a significance which will satisfy his own will to meaning,” (Frankl, P 99).
Report IRS Phone Scam Here
IRS Phone Scams are surging around the country. If I could make a button that would help people solve this problem, the title would be that as above, Report IRS Scam Here! This button would magically identify the caller, where he or she lives, works, and eats; and supplies you, the victim, with a direct phone number to his or her home. Then my suggestion would be to post that number on your social media accounts and encourage everyone to call it, a lot!

Law Enforcement And Starbucks
Starbucks and my career as a law enforcement officer go hand in hand, both are present daily. Law enforcement is not just our job, the idea of helping people is innate in us. It speaks to our core. If there is one group of people in the world that can see the big picture of individual opinion, it’s law enforcement officers. Individual acts are done by individual people and at that point, their best decision making got them there. Who are we to put the world into groups? Today I will do my job the way I always have, with the drive to be there when someone, anyone, needs me.
